How to Navigate Being an Intuitive Empath in the Workplace

Let's talk about being an intuitive empath in the workplace. I mentioned before that I never really explained it to people, never really owned it…especially at work

Despite being dressed professionally, my curly hair, preference for bright colors, and love of live music earned me the reputation of being a “hippie” by most of my colleagues

If I disclosed that I was also intuitive, my fear was that my professional credibility would completely go out the window. I did not want to seem to “woo-woo” and have my work discredited

After years of pretending with those that did not know me well, I decided I was done. I needed to own it and own it I did! I decided that I needed a more holistic practice

At the time, I was working for a large corporation and went to the owner and asked about opening a holistic division. I explained that I wanted to open an office in an acupuncture office and utilize spirituality

His response was “Okay, we can try it, but no voodoo.” After I promised not to do any blood sacrifices, I began to make plans for worst fears realized!

Eventually, we parted ways because our ideas of a holistic practice were quite different (IMAGINE THAT!)

I decided I needed to create an authentic practice that supported me...as an empath, intuit, and Mom

I now have a practice I LOVE and I want you to as well! I want to help YOU build your authentic private practice too. If you feel called to create this for yourself, check out The Empathic Therapist Course.
